Probhodha Trust is a public charitable institution established at Kochi , Ernakulam district of Kerala, South India in February 2021. This Public Charitable Trust is registered with the Office of Sub Registrar, Maradu, Ernakulam. The Motto of the Trust is " to work for creating a society upholding the principles and practices of Mahatma Gandhi and promoting study and research on Gandhian Thought and undertake publications. " The slogan of the trust is " Education for Social Transformation. " The Registered Office of the Trust is situated at Ponnurunni East of Cochin Corporation. Though the Trust is registered in the State of Kerala, the area of operation includes different States and Union territories of India. The Board of Trustees consists of noted social workers, professionals and persons working in the field of education who are interested in promoting Gandhian thought and action and committed to a just, equitable and non-exploitative society. The key areas of work identified by the trust include study and research on the life and thought of Mahatma Gandhi as well as predecessors of Gandhi and contemporary thinkers and social revolutionaries, preservation of rights and observance of duties of individuals, the welfare of women, children and most depressed sections of society, protection of environment and sustainable development practices, decentralized democracy and humane governance, constructive programmes and charity works in consonance with the objects of the trust. The objects of the trust would be realized through various educational, cultural, social and economic activities.

Publications Division of Probhodha aims to undertake standard publications for enhancement of knowledge and dissemination of human values. We are convinced that books have far reaching impact on shaping the lives of the people and the felt need of our time is to disseminate of seminal, innovative and creating thinking.

Centre for Gandhian Studies and Research
This centre aims to promote, organize, sponsor and undertake the study and research on the life and thought of Mahatma Gandhi as well as predecessors of Gandhi and contemporary thinkers and social revolutionaries who have drawn inspiration from Gandhi and to undertake comparative studies. The centre would undertake act as a catalyst in the dissemination of Gandhian Studies through various course of studies, seminars, workshops, symposiums and publication of books, monographs, research articles and other materials.
